Edward G Welsh Sr
Edward G. Welsh, Sr., 76, of Marietta passed away on January 5th, 2019. He was born in Columbia to the late Cleon, Sr. and Iona Weaver Welsh and was a lifelong resident of this area. Edward worked for the former Mountville Wallpaper and retired after almost thirty years.
He was a fan of old western movies and professional wrestling. For many years he played the role of Santa Claus at Christmas time to entertain his family and friends. Edward was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who adored his family. He will be remembered by his family for that special smile, caring heart, his warm embrace he always gave, and being there for his family no matter what.
